These terms apply to your use of the Awda app. By downloading or using Awda, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

What Awda does

Awda calculates prayer times, sends reminders, helps you track your prayers, and can pause apps you choose during prayer windows using Apple's Screen Time. Awda is a tool to support your worship — it is not a religious authority.

Prayer times are estimates

Prayer times are calculated from your location, your chosen calculation method, and any manual adjustments. They are estimates and can vary between methods and sources. For anything you want to be certain of, please confirm with a trusted local source.

App pausing & emergencies

You decide which apps Awda pauses. Apps you don't select — including phone, messages, and maps — keep working, and an Emergency Unblock is available when you genuinely need it. You're responsible for how you configure the app. In an emergency, you can always reach emergency services directly through your device.

Purchases

Awda may offer paid features through an auto-renewable subscription. If it does, payment is charged to your Apple account at confirmation, and the subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel anytime in your App Store account settings.

Using Awda responsibly

Awda is licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use. Please don't copy, resell, reverse-engineer, or misuse the app, or use it in any way that breaks the law.

Ownership

Awda, its name, design, and content belong to us. These terms give you permission to use the app — they don't transfer ownership of it.

Disclaimer & liability

Awda is provided “as is.” We work hard to make it reliable, but we can't guarantee it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for any loss arising from your use of the app.

Changes

We may update the app and these terms over time. When we change the terms, we'll revise the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use Awda means you accept the updated terms.
